We were recently commissioned to design a new specialist café opening on the Hastings seafront. The client wished to bring the scrumptious delights of authentic Hungarian chimney cakes to this traditional English seaside town. The process of making the cakes has several steps which informed the layout. We really wanted the customers to be able to watch the stages, creating a sense of anticipation and excitement.

The design compliments the character of the beautiful Victorian shopfront, restoring and enhancing its original features and creating an enticing addition to the traditional street scene. Internally a rich colour palette inspired by the deliciously golden cakes and colourful toppings create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Looking to open later this year, so watch this space!
