BRIEF - Design and full refurbishment of Grade II listed granary for luxury holiday let. including concept, layout, lighting, small power, case goods and finishes specification.
Set in the beautiful Kent countryside, we were lucky enough to have the unique opportunity to convert a former granary into luxury accommodation. Set within the grounds of a beautiful county home, The Granary had was a neglected structure used mainly as storage. We worked closely with the client to develop sympathetic designs that complimented the history and style of this unique building, selecting appropriate materials to enhance the existing beauty of the historic structure.
We collaborated closely with the lead contractor to oversee all installations and execution of key design details to ensure the character of the building was preserved.
All furniture was meticulously selected to add a level of sophistication to this rustic setting, whilst also maintaining a simplified palette of natural woods and rustic linens in earth tones.
We used a diverse lighting scheme to highlight the stunning lofted ceiling space and create soft indirect lighting, perfect for a cosy stay.
